The Women At The Well Ministry

Acts 2:17-18 And is it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams and on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my spirit; and they shall prophesy.             

     With their hands raised up toward Heaven and praise on their lips, women for different churches and walks of life gave praise to the Almighty God at the platform speaking of the“Women At The Well” held at the National Guard Armory on Saturday, November 22, 2004             

     Evangelist Karen Martin Wilson said, “about two years ago the Holy Spirit Spoke to her and said a gathering of women. With in those two years the Holy Spirit began placing a little bit at a time about the vision. One morning on my way to work about 5:00 am the Holy Spirit said to tell, them they are the women at the well. Later as I met each woman the Holy Spirit would gently speak to me and say tell her she is one of the speakers for the woman at the well. These women came from different parts of the country each having her personal testimony. She will allow you to enter her journey as she travels toward the well to meet a man name Jesus. He asks her does she want a drink of living water and she says, Yes, and He forgives her of her past and future sins and covers her under His blood”         

     The panel of women including Evangelist Karen  Martin Wilson  Evangelist Laurie Evans, Evangelist Edna Johnson, Evangelist Lisa Way, Evangelist Cindy Kelly Sis Torsha Flemings and Sis Pandora Lambert, allowed the women attending to enter their personal life experiences.            

    These women talked about how a God fearing mother went to jail for something she didn’t do on purpose, how she lost her home, how she lived with a husband that hit her but through it all she never lost faith, she didn’t understand why, but she knew that if she was faithful to God, he would be faithful to her. They spoke of drugs, molestation, domestic abuse, substance abuse, near death experiences, negligent of children, jail, death of love ones and much more. But with each experience they showed how God was faithful to them and brought them out of each situation.            

     Each of the women realized that their lessons could and would help someone else to know they could make it through what ever they were going through. A addict mother who is now clean  but once believed she had lost her children forever because of her past mistakes but, she  got her  children back and they are doing well. When you give people hope, they seek ways out to help them selves and not just sit back and let things just happen.          

     There was not one person I could find there that was not touched by the experience. One lady said my heart was so full all she could do was just sit in through it all. Wilson said women are hurting and if they feel that someone understood what they are going through they could start the healing process in their lives. Many people feel they are the only one facing difficult situations and they are all alone. When you’ve gone though being raped, you can give hope to that young lady that’s thinking she cannot live through it or the drug addictions. You could see the amazement as the power of God moved through. You could feel peopled being healed and God restoring women’s faith.          

 John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.               

     The woman at the well ministry is base on the Samaritan women that Jesus met at the well. This woman would go in the heat of the day to the well all by herself. Felling shut out and all alone and she carried her burdens everyday. None of the other women took then time to talk to her but I am sure they found time to talk about her. But Jesus took the time to talk to her heal and forgive her and a mighty Evangelist was born that day!!!!
